An interesting fact about poker is that a five-card hand can be the lowest possible poker hand. Similarly, a pair of aces can be considered the lowest possible poker hand. However, the ace is not considered to be the highest possible card in some games. For instance, in a seven-card stud, the ace is only treated as the lowest possible card if paired with a king or queen.
